It's beautiful majestic place I love it and I am glad to have the opportunity to visit

The area is well maintained and offers excellent views of the area from various trails.

Worth the trip if you are in the area. Google will tell you that you reached your destination about a quarter mile too soon. Keep going until you reach Lost Forty Loop. The trail is across the road.

Nice outdoor area for hiking and other recreational activities. Its a bit of a drive to get to but worth it, especially for historic value.

*** warning *** This area is quite remote and cellular reception is pretty much non-existent for all four major US carriers (as well as no-contract providers who merely lease towers from other carriers). One would be advised to save the area to offline maps or pay close attention when driving in, as navigating out of the area did not work for me and my wife till we were back on highway 46 (at which point I already knew how to get home).

Gorgeous place a must see if you find yourself with some free time while in the area. Very informational and pretty remote, we had to drive down a few miles of forest road to get here. It's worth every pothole to see the oldest trees in the state. Absolutely breathtaking.
